Delete Your Account

You can delete your Level Journey account and its data at any time. There are two ways to do it: from inside the app, or by emailing us. Both remove the same data.
1. FROM INSIDE THE APP
This is the fastest route, and it takes effect immediately:
- Open Level Journey and go to Settings
- Scroll to Danger Zone
- Select Delete Account
- Confirm when prompted
2. BY EMAIL
If you no longer have the app installed, or cannot sign in, email us and we will delete the account for you:
- Send a message to support@level-journey.com
- Use the subject line Account deletion request
- Send it from the email address the account was registered with, so we can verify it is yours
We confirm and complete email requests within 30 days.
3. WHAT IS DELETED
Deleting your account removes your character and everything attached to it:
- Your account and email address
- Your character, class, level, XP and growth fields
- Tasks, subtasks, rituals, goals and their completion history
- Streaks, achievements, collected items and daily rewards
- Soul Mirror entries: moods, notes and tracked habits
- Your circle membership, and any goals you shared with a circle
- Notification preferences
This cannot be undone. There is no way to restore an account after deletion, and the data is not recoverable by us.
4. WHAT IS RETAINED, AND FOR HOW LONG
A small amount of information outlives the account, for the reasons below:
- Subscription and transaction records: retained for 90 days after deletion to handle refunds, billing disputes and fraud prevention, then permanently deleted or anonymized. Note that your subscription itself is managed by Apple or Google, not by us; see section 5.
- Anonymized activity counts: records that can no longer identify you may be kept as aggregate totals.
- Records we are legally required to keep: retained only for as long as the law requires.
5. CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION SEPARATELY
Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed by the store you bought them from, and only that store can cancel them:
- Google Play: Play Store app → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
- Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions
Cancel there first, then delete the account.
